Well, before I can say what scholarship means to me, we have to examine which concept of scholarship we are using. Considering that this is an activity for xinmin scholar's programme, then I'll assume that the concept of scholarship we are using is being a xinmin scholar. To me, then, scholarship is basically a recognition of your abilities as a person and as a student, and is also representative of the duties that come with having those abilities.
Scholars have the responsibilities to better themselves holistically and to give back to the community that helped them. While trying to achieve this, I guess the obstacles I will face is my own conviction in this belief and my resilience, to be able to push on even when things don't seem to be working out. Also, other obstacles would be trying to juggle all the commitments, and to gather the courage to make the first step in giving back to the community.
In a way, a scholar is a leader, as the scholar may be leading his or her peers in studies or setting an example for others to follow. But to me, whether a scholar is a leader truly depends on the scholar's choice, on whether they choose to lead or be led. They can choose to merely better themselves through following others, following the paths that others have taken to reach greater heights. Or, they may choose to help others while helping themselves, setting examples, being innovative, and creating new paths for others to follow.
As a scholar, I intend to serve all those who i care about, helping others whenever they need it, and to better myself so as to also better the assistance I can give. This, is how I intend to serve as a scholar.

INFP
Introverted (I) 57% Extraverted (E) 43%
Intuitive (N) 55% Sensing (S) 45%
Feeling (F) 55% Thinking (T) 45%
Perceiving (P) 64% Judging (J) 36%
Introverted Feeling
INFPs live primarily in a rich inner world of introverted Feeling. Being inward-turning, the natural attraction is away from world and toward essence and ideal. This introversion of dominant Feeling, receiving its data from extraverted intuition, must be the source of the quixotic nature of these usually gentle beings. Feeling is caught in the approach- avoidance bind between concern both for people and for All Creatures Great and Small, and a psycho-magnetic repulsion from the same. The "object," be it homo sapiens or a mere representation of an organism, is valued only to the degree that the object contains some measure of the inner Essence or greater Good. Doing a good deed, for example, may provide intrinsic satisfaction which is only secondary to the greater good of striking a blow against Man's Inhumanity to Mankind.
Extraverted iNtuition
Extraverted intuition faces outward, greeting the world on behalf of Feeling. What the observer usually sees is creativity with implied good will. Intuition spawns this type's philosophical bent and strengthens pattern perception. It combines as auxiliary with introverted Feeling and gives rise to unusual skill in both character development and fluency with language--a sound basis for the development of literary facility. If INTPs aspire to word mechanics, INFPs would be verbal artists.
Introverted Sensing
Sensing is introverted and often invisible. This stealth function in the third position gives INFPs a natural inclination toward absent- mindedness and other-worldliness, however, Feeling's strong people awareness provides a balancing, mitigating effect. This introverted Sensing is somewhat categorical, a subdued version of SJ sensing. In the third position, however, it is easily overridden by the stronger functions.
Extraverted Thinking
The INFP may turn to inferior extraverted Thinking for help in focusing on externals and for closure. INFPs can even masquerade in their ESTJ business suit, but not without expending considerable energy. The inferior, problematic nature of Extraverted Thinking is its lack of context and proportion. Single impersonal facts may loom large or attain higher priority than more salient principles which are all but overlooked.
INFPs generally have the following traits:
-Strong value systems
-Warmly interested in people
-Service-oriented, usually putting the needs of others above their own
-Loyal and devoted to people and causes
-Future-oriented
-Growth-oriented; always want to be growing in a positive direction
-Creative and inspirational
-Flexible and laid-back, unless a ruling principle is violated
-Sensitive and complex
-Dislike dealing with details and routine work
-Original and individualistic - "out of the mainstream"
-Excellent written communication skills
-Prefer to work alone, and may have problems working on teams
-Value deep and authentic relationships
-Want to be seen and appreciated for who they are
The INFP is a special, sensitive individual who needs a career which is more than a job. The INFP needs to feel that everything they do in their lives is in accordance with their strongly-felt value systems, and is moving them and/or others in a positive, growth-oriented direction. They are driven to do something meaningful and purposeful with their lives. The INFP will be happiest in careers which allow them to live their daily lives in accordance with their values, and which work towards the greater good of humanity. It's worth mentioning that nearly all of the truly great writers in the world have been INFPs.
Possible Career Paths for the INFP:
Writers
Counselors / Social Workers
Teachers / Professors
Psychologists
Psychiatrists
Musicians
Clergy / Religious Workers
I guess what is stated above is mostly true, with some odd things (No i do not derive satisfaction out of striking a blow against evil, I derive it out of seeing people happy -.-) This...didn't really alter my view of myself, as my own view can still mesh together with what is said above and contains part of it already. How I intend to work towards my goals...well, I can't say they change with this, as I'm still going to reach my goals through hard work, so yeah.

Who am I?
Considering that i was never good at introducing myself, i shall just follow the guidelines and randomly type away until some sort of introduction comes out and yes i know I'm late shush =X
So, anyways...
Who am I?
I am male, born on the 24th of may, birth flower Wolfsbane, which coincidentally contains a deadly poison in its roots. Just as coincidentally, my favourite number is 24, which is my birthday. I am in xinmin drama and debate, came from Rosyth (yay Rosyth!) and chose my subject combinations based on whether they had Lit. I aim to become an author, but since that is likely to fail, will likely go into the teaching industry one day. I behave according to my moods, so hope that you find me in a good mood and I'll be cheerful, energetic and helpful. Catch me in too good a mood, however, and i'll be spastic, retarded and lame. If you catch me in a bad mood, i'll probably ignore you if i'm not close to you, so yeah, that's more or less me.
What are my motivations?
Well, I save money for food, if that counts? I'm also motivated by emotional connections to people, wanting to fulfill the people I respect's expectations. Also, i prefer taking up projects that work towards my goals in life as opposed to taking up projects that net the most gains. Sometimes, the sense of satisfaction i gauge i would get upon successfully completing the project is another motivation. But, even for the most undesirable of tasks to me, sometimes i do take them up, just for the simple motivation of experiencing everything in life, and being able to say that I have experienced it.
What is moi's personality?
Well...what is my personality? Perhaps the best way to describe it is that my personality depends on how i feel at that very moment. One of my former teachers once remarked that everytime she came into class, i would be smiling and that would cheer her up. But yet, I'm not cheerful all the time. Depending on time and circumstance, my personality changes, growing every single instant. Sometimes it's a small change, sometimes it's a big one. And yes, perhaps I'm trying to skirt the issue here. But, this is my viewpoint: If you really want to find out my personality, then don't cheat and look at a blog. Talk to me directly and find out who i really am.
What are my strengths?
I guess, my intellectual curiosity is one of my strengths, as i love to find out new and peculiar things, adding them to my repository of knowledge. Also, I never take things at face value, and always question why, until I find a reason that i find suitable enough. However, this can also be a weakness, as sometimes I just don't know when to stop. I also adapt rather quickly, being able to generate different solutions to new problems as they arise and being able to make new friends in new environments. Also, if i believe in something enough, i'll work doggedly at it until it reaches a near perfect standard. So, I'm curious, inquisitive, adaptable, and determined. However, these also lead on to...
What are my weaknesses?
As I mentioned above, there are times when i just don't know when to stop, and that can make me abrasive and tactless. Also, though i might be able to generate many ideas, I tend to choose one above the rest and stick with it, believing that it is the best one, and when others want to take a different approach, I will be rather pigheaded and want to stick with my idea, defending it long after it's been torn down. Also, even though i might be determined, I am also stubborn as a mule, choosing to continue things even when they won't work out as long as i still believe in it. Also, if i do not have enough faith in a project, I will also lower my standards and hand in things with a lower standard, which is another weakness of mine. So, I need to know when to stop, how to be more accepting, and to work hard for things even if I don't believe in them.
What are my likes?
I like writing, which would be natural considering that i want to be an author, and also reading books. I also like listening to music, and RP-ing, though it's been a long time since I've done it. And, of course, food! =) I also like cats, and whimsical objects!
What are my dislikes?
I dislike...unoiled hinges, the sound of plastic against plastic, and various other things. if you really want to know, you'll have to ask me myself =)
And lastly, what is interesting to me? Out of all the things that interest me, i guess you could say they all have one thing in common. They are all original, with their own individuality around them. they are never run of the mill, just another mass produced object. They always have thier own voice, a place in the world, and they'll never be overlooked without a fight.
